Tiger Road is a classic hack-and-slash action-platformer developed by Capcom and released for the PC Engine in 1990, adapted by Advance Communication. You play as a warrior monk on a quest to rescue kidnapped children from an evil sorcerer, battling through hordes of enemies across ancient Asian-themed landscapes.

The gameplay involves side-scrolling action with a focus on melee combat using your character's staff-like weapon. You can also throw projectiles and perform special attacks. The PC Engine version features enhanced graphics and sound compared to the arcade original, with vibrant colors and detailed sprite work that brings the mystical setting to life.

A unique feature of this port is the refined control scheme, which takes advantage of the PC Engine's responsive pad for smoother combat.
