Dragon Ball Z Kyōshū! Saiyajin: Bandai Classic Famicom Title

Dragon Ball Z Assault! The Saiyans is a licensed turn-based strategy RPG published by Bandai for the Famicom based on the Dragon Ball Z anime’s Saiyan invasion arc. Goku and allies traverse the world map, train, gather companions and engage grid-based tactical battles against invading Saiyan forces including Vegeta and Nappa.

Overworld travel enables training sessions to raise power levels. Grid combat allows positioning characters to unleash signature energy attacks such as Kamehameha. Ki resource limits usage of powerful finishing moves.

Story faithfully follows the Saiyan invasion narrative. Multiple recruitable Z-fighters influence available battle tactics.

Bandai’s anime-inspired tile graphics and heroic battle soundtrack capture the dramatic tone of the original Saiyan arc.

Strategically, consistent victory over the Saiyan invaders requires balanced training for the whole party. Overreliance solely on Goku leaves the rest of the team unprepared for layered enemy ambushes.

For contemporary Famicom retro Dragon Ball Z licensed collectors, Kyōshū! Saiyajin is an early domestic tactical RPG curio adapting the iconic Saiyan invasion storyline.
